Matthew started school this week! The 2nd grade! He was excited but nervous. I'm sad to have him gone. But there is far less fighting to deal with between him and Maren. :-) Although now it seems like we are a lot more bored! Matthew really likes his teacher Mrs. Lewis and we were excited to get her. He has 2 of his good friends Nathan A. and Nathan S. in his class. Yay!

Cute pictures of Matthew! I'm so glad he got Mrs. Lewis. We really loved her last year!! I love the first day of school and these cute pictures! Boy, my house had become quiet all of a sudden too!
Yay for school starting!! I love this time of year. That's great he has "The Nathan's" in his class - that will make it fun!! And I'm sure you're enjoying the quiet without the fighting. Good times! By the way I LOVE your blog background!! That's fresh.
I can't believe he is 2nd grade already!! I'm looking forward to school starting in a few weeks. Once Owen starts preschool I'll even have 2 mornings with just the baby. Yay! Although getting up and getting everybody ready in the morning doesn't sound so fun.
I can't believe school is here again! I'm glad that I have a few more weeks before the routine hits me. I am still very much in the summer mode.
